Everything You Need for Childbirth Classes! Childbirth is an incredible experience for all parents. Yet many go into labor and delivery with very little information. Lack of knowledge can ultimately lead to a more negative birth experience. On the other hand, good information allows parents to make informed decisions, better control the outcome, and have a more positive experience in labor and delivery. With BrightBirth Academy, your organization can be the bridge for your community by offering this prepackaged birth class. This BrightTraining course prepares the presenter to complete the demonstrations, answer questions, and run the class. The included materials, and a few common items for demonstration, will be all that you need to get your birth class up and running. The classes are easy and take very little training to facilitate. The six-part advocate training series explains how to teach, and the facilitator’s guide instructs on what to do in every class. Katie does the rest! There are multiple ways to teach these classes. You can conduct one-on-one meetings, group classes, or virtual classrooms on BrightCourse. Students who cannot attend all lessons in-person can take the classes remotely. They can watch and practice techniques from the comfort of their homes. Benefits of Running a Birth Class Childbirth education is a need your organization can fill; and doing so will likely increase both clients and donors. Your center will be closing the gap for many parents by making birth a less scary option. Abortion-vulnerable women can be comforted knowing that they will be supported and informed throughout pregnancy and birth. And your donors will love your outreach to vulnerable pregnant women!
