Tools will be shared with tips to help your clients understand creation, the fall, and why sacrificial offerings were necessary. This lesson explains how God created human beings with basic, legitimate needs to feel significant, secure, accepted, and loved. The key to unlocking the gospel is understanding the sacrifice of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. The first goal of this lesson is for you to assist your clients, and to help them understand why they make the choices they make. The second goal of this lesson is for you to have the tools to explain to your clients what it will take for them to make lasting changes in their lives. Lesson 2: How to Lead a Client to Christ When it looked like there was no hope for people, God sent Jesus, His son. Jesus became flesh and lived among us. This lesson provides a detailed explanation with scriptural support for why Jesus came to earth, how sin entered into the world, and how God gives us the repentance process to enable us to have victory over the slavery of sin. Tools will be shared to help your clients understand how to invite Jesus Christ into their lives, allow Him to be Lord of their lives, and how to live according to their new identity - free in Christ. Lesson 3: Recognizing Satan God has a plan for our lives, but so does Satan, the Identity Thief. For those who have received Jesus Christ as personal Savior and desire Him to be Lord of their lives, we want to break free from unhealthy or undesired habits. But it is impossible to do without God’s help. You can encourage your clients to step forward in faith by identifying barriers to growth called strongholds. This lesson will teach how we can learn to live free from past emotions, memories, and mistakes. Through understanding and applying Biblical truth, we can reverse our former flesh patterns and depend on the Holy Spirit’s guidance.We can recognize Satan, the Identity Thief and renew our minds by the truth of our new identity in Christ. Advocate Training Lesson 4: How to use disciple As new believers in Jesus Christ allow Him to be Lord, they step forward in faith by identifying barriers to growth called strongholds. As your client walks with the Lord you can encourage further growth by introducing the program called disciple. The client series will help your client understand the dramatic changes that take place once Jesus is Lord of their lives. Once the client understands the changes are about inner transformation, they can embrace who they are in Christ and begin to see reality as God says it is. Through this process and the power of God’s Word, they can learn to renew their minds. Lesson 5: Leading a Client Through the Steps to Freedom In this course, we discussed how to lead your client to Christ and how to help them step forward in faith by identifying barriers to growth called strongholds. In this final session, we will discuss how to lead your client through The Steps to Freedom In Christ, which is included in disciple as part of the course. The Steps to Freedom In Christ is a tool to help your client to experience freedom in Christ and to help them understand that repenting from sin is more that saying “I’m sorry.” The Steps to Freedom in Christ is a gentle prayer time and once learned can be used as a life-long tool for maintaining spiritual health.
